About the speaker:

Jan Kregel is professor of development finance at Tallinn University of Technology and editor of the Journal of Post Keynesian Economics.

Kregel has served on multiple committees constituted by the UN such as the Commission on Reform of the International Financial System, and the Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters. He has published over 250 articles in edited volumes and scholarly journals, and his most recent book is Financial Macroeconomics(2024).
